Patient Confidentiality

Data Protection
Our practice fully complies with the Data Protection Act 1998. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (our registration number is Z1609808) which oversees the implementation of the act. Our practice data controller is Mr Rohit Mistry. Care Quality

Our practice is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) (Our registration number is 1-294315225) which checks whether Dentists are meeting national standards.

In their inspection in 27 July 2012 we passed all of the required standards. These were:

  • Standards of treating people with respect and involving them in their care
  • Standards of providing care, treatment and support that meets people's needs
  • Standards of caring for people safely and protecting them from harm
  • Standards of staffing
  • Standards of quality and suitability of management

From the CQC Inspectors report: "The people we spoke with during our visit gave positive feedback about the dental practice. They were complimentary about the service and the staff and comments received included 'brilliant service' and 'very pleased with the service'. People said that the staff were 'very good' and that they had 'no complaints' about the service provided."

Every effort is made within the practice to ensure that patients are happy with every aspect of their treatment and our service. If for any reason you are unhappy with any aspect of the treatment or service you have received we have a complaints procedure. We take complaints very seriously and respond in a caring and sensitive manner. In addition to responding to a complaint we take the opportunity to make any improvements we can for the future. Health and Safety

Health and safety is very important to us. We take every precaution to safeguard patients and staff whilst at the practice. We follow all current guidelines related to health and safety. We comply with regulations related to COSHH, and x-rays.

Cross Infection Control
We follow recommended guidelines set by the Department of Health in how we sterilize our instruments.
